In August 2019, my brother got married and he and his wife asked me to work on the visual identity of this unique event.

They wanted the event to retrace their love story and how they decided to get married. He proposed in Santorini (Greece) and they planned to get married in Sintra (Portugal) so the main idea was to create a univers about those 2 country, obviously it would be all about blue.

I started to work on the invitations because they had to be sent really soon.

First the cover, obviously I have worked on a calligraphy with their name but I have add some decoration. "Azuleijo" on the back, for the Portuguese touch, Greek pattern on the bottom for the Greek touch. I have also used Olivier's branches which is a symbol of Both countries (Olive oil is really used by all Mediterranean people)
In order to continue exploring the "PortuGreek" theme in the seating plan, we decided to use Greek gods and goddesses names for the tables. I have worked on 12 illustrations, 12 portraits to illustrate 12 tables in the same style I have used to illustrate Lisbon and Santorini on the Invitation.

We created little signs to put on little easels on every table to indicate the name of the table and also a much bigger one to put on the dining room entrance.
At the end of the wedding, every guest was given a small jar of olive oil, last little symbol of an unique event that they were a part of.
